Tots Race For Charity And Their Health. Eight professional football players will coach Tampa-area babies as they race across a mini-football field in that other "Bowl" game in Tampa -- Baby Bowl II. Monday Night Football sideline reporter Melissa Stark will provide play-by-play and retired NFL Referee Jerry Markbreit will be on hand to make sure everyone follows the rules. Baby Bowl II, hosted by Payless ShoeSource, will feature NFL players Errict Rhett, Donnell Bennett, John Lynch and others. And it's all for a good cause. Not only will Payless make a donation on each football player's behalf to the child-related charity of his choice, Payless will also reinforce its commitment to the importance to children's foot health.
On Wednesday, January 24, 2001, DWJ Television will do a live webcast of the race in its entirety. We will also include:
Soundbites from the NFL players, the parents of the winning toddler and Payless executives. B-Roll of the race and the NFL players coaching the babies.

What's a Baby Bowl?
In five words, it's a lot of fun.
A gaggle of freshly-diapered toddlers line up at one end of a special track and race (toddle) toward the finish line. The winner, a future Marion Jones or Maurice Greene, receives wonderful prizes from Payless Shoes, the race's sponsor.
What's a Webcast?
By logging onto dwjtv.com/evnr/babybowl.ram at 10:30 AM today (1/24/01), you'll see and hear all the action right here on your computer monitor screen, just as if you were watching it on your television set. We know your day is busy, but these relatively new pedestrians get themselves to the finish line in moments. You'll be back clawing your way to the top of the corporate ladder in no time.
